Nurse Practitioner OR Physician Assistant Lewisville TX (25 miles NW of Dallas)
4 ½ day work week
$130k-$150k+ monthly bonuses
We are looking for a driven and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our multidisciplinary team full time in Lewisville TX. Ideally the incoming nurse practitioner or physician assistant should have experience in a primary care setting, have a knowledge of or be willing to learn ancillary therapies such as weight loss, hormone replacement therapies, and joint/trigger point injections, and be able to work independently with the supervision of a physician alongside other practitioners. This position will require autonomy in patient-directed care, and the provider will dictate patient treatment. Practitioners should be self-confident, warm/empathetic towards the patients, and excited to help patients in their health journey! A huge plus if the PA/NP is bilingual in Spanish. Duties:
  • Provide exceptional primary care conducting office visits for routine and acute issues
  • Administer Annual wellness visits and health risk assessments
  • Coordinate care with other providers, specialists, testing facilities, and agencies
  • Educating patients on their health conditions, care plans, and treatments
  • Chart notes in EMR system (eClinicalWorks)
  • Create treatment plans that may include medicine management alongside other specialty care in accordance with the patients' needs
  • Perform joint and trigger-point injections, medical weight loss, hormone therapy, and other ancillary services. Various procedural training from licensed practitioners is available if needed
  • Provide telehealth appointments when appropriate during normal clinic scheduled hours.
  • Attend and perform regular team meetings to collaborate on patient care plans to ensure the best care possible.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care

Requirements:
  • Graduation of an accredited nurse practitioner or physician assistant program
  • Current NP/PA Texas licenses, DEA license, and National Board Certifications  
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification including CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
  • Experience with basic desktop software and eClinicalWorks EHR preferred
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a primary care provider or equivalent preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred

Schedule:
  • 4 1/2 days per week with office hours ending at 12 on Fridays
Salary (range):
  • $130k-$150k per year plus Monthly bonus based on production metrics
