Medical Sales / Patient Care Rep Ypsilanti Twp MI (10 miles E of Ann Arbor) Part time or Full time
We are looking for a motivated and driven Medical Sales / Patient Care Representative to join our medical practice in Ypsilanti Twp, MI. The Medical Sales/Patient Care Rep is responsible for building and maintaining patient relationships throughout their care, delivering a financial breakdown of the overall Care Plan along with helping patients to coordinate their schedules to arrive for the recommended care. This position is also responsible for acquiring long term, quality patients for the clinic through the implementation of lead conversion systems, and the position will focus on understanding patient needs and wants, helping them overcome obstacles and empathizing with their struggles and challenges while influencing them to do what is in their best interest to improve their quality of life. Ideally, the incoming candidate must be able to develop trust and the confidence necessary to help patients navigate their Care Plan and be able to work and collaborate effectively within a highly team-centric environment. Must have sales or management experience and be willing to assist with patient care as needed along with the medical providers.

Performance Objectives:
Develop emotional connection with patients to understand their expected goals and desired outcomes
Perform an initial consultation on new patients to determine medical history, motivating factor that prompted patient to look for help with their problem and functional goals of the patient
Attend Team Meeting to report on motivating factor that prompted patient to look for help with their problem and functional goals of the patient
Create and deliver financial estimates and long-term scheduling to patients based on Provider’s orders
Provide and ensure completion of all patient paperwork
Effectively and continually educate patients about the need for, and progress through, the care plan
Ensure that all the patient’s needs are met, nothing gets overlooked, and care is consistent with the patient’s expressed desires
Execute patient follow up calls
Encourage, resolve concerns, and gather testimonials during care plan
Assist with patient care as needed alongside the medical staff

Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent

Compensation:
$17/hr plus bonus compensation (Bonus compensation potentially adding an additional several hundred dollars per month)
