We are seeking a Medical Office Manager to join our medical practice full time in Waco TX. We are looking for an organized, motivated, and dedicated person with excellent leadership skills to help lead our practice. Ideally, we are looking for a candidate with management experience, to be a team leader, helping our clinic drive growth and ensure metrics are met throughout the year. Must have a positive can-do attitude, have a thorough understanding of management, have an experience and ability to lead people through inspiration, motivation, and drive, and be passionate about delivering a high-quality patient experience with excellent communication skills.
About us: For over 45 years, our medical office has provided the highest quality gastroenterology care to our patients. We have an amazing, well-respected team of physicians, and our staff of 50+ employees including medical assistants, front office, and call center. We specialize in the treatment of disease of the digestive system and colon cancer prevention. We proudly serve the residents of Waco and all central Texas in a professional and respectful environment.
Duties:
Oversee the daily operations of our clinic
Manage staff scheduling to ensure the clinic is properly staffed while controlling payroll costs.
Supervise front desk operations and ensure all patient intake and insurance verification processes run smoothly.
Ensure compliance with medical documentation, billing and oversight (work with billing and coding department to ensure compliance with state and federal laws)
Monitor clinic metrics to ensure continued growth of the practice
Hire, train, and supervise front office and administrative staff.
Conduct performance evaluations and staff training to ensure compliance with clinic policies.
Implement workflow improvements to enhance efficiency and patient experience.
Lead team meetings to address challenges, process updates, and staff concerns
Collaborate with the nurse manager of the endoscopy department as needed
Assist with finances, understanding accounts receivable, providing data to doctors in spreadsheet form
Maintain a healthy working environment
Requirements:
Medical office Management/Leadership experience
Strong leadership skills to oversee staff performance, hiring, and training
Strong work ethic
Strong understanding of medical office finances and excellent computer skills (Accounts receivable, providing data to practice owners/physicians)
Schedule:
Full time (Mon-Friday)
Compensation:
$120,000 with performance incentive bonuses
