Chiropractor Anchorage AK We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Chiropractor to join our multidisciplinary practice full time in Anchorage, AK. Ideally, the incoming chiropractor is a team player with experience treating personal injury (PI), veterans, and insured patients in a multidisciplinary clinical setting. Recent grads are welcome if they are highly coachable and committed to learning PI and insurance documentation standards. Must be detail-oriented and compliance-focused, ensuring proper documentation for insurance, VA, and PI claims while being independent, professional, and motivated to help grow the practice while maintaining high standards of care. Who we are: Our chiropractic office has proudly served our community through high quality chiropractic care for over 25 years. Our practice provides chiropractic care, spinal decompression, traction, physical therapy, massage, and medical pain management, with a strong focus on auto injuries, spinal ligament instability, traumatic brain injuries (TBI), and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. We have a team of LMTs, a CA, and a PTA to assist the chiropractor. We have a deep passion to heal our patients through the highest quality care and see them thrive in life. Duties:
Perform initial exams and re-exams (medical history, focused physical exam, review pertinent imaging/documents/reports) for a variety of patient payor types
Take and review Diagnostic imaging/X-rays
Evaluate findings and determine diagnosis
Develop and prepare appropriate treatment plans
Patient education as to diagnosis, 1-1 Patient Report of Finding, treatment plan options, pre and post treatment care, lifestyle modifications, preventative care strategies, take-home stretches and exercises, and benefits of continued chiropractic care
Chiropractic Care - incorporating chiropractic adjustments, manual therapy, spinal decompression, traction, and rehabilitative exercises. manual adjusting techniques (Diversified, Gonstead preferred) and instrument-assisted methods (Activator, Arthrostim a plus)
Supervise and advise Chiropractic Assistants/PTA on patient care
Documentation and Charting (timely and accurate notes) compliant with insurance, VA, and legal requirements.
Prepare med-legal reports, impairment ratings, and treatment justifications for PI cases when necessary.
Work cooperatively with the integrated team, billing department and other support staff for comprehensive patient care
Patient follow up to ensure treatment goals are being met- reassessments
Attend team meetings to discuss case management, patient care strategies, and clinic improvements.
Clinic growth and marketing- Contribute to patient education, community outreach, and networking efforts to help grow the clinic’s reputation and patient base.
Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited Doctor of Chiropractic program (DC)
Active Chiropractic license in AK
Schedule:
Full time (Monday-Friday with ½ days on Tue/Thurs) Flexible with potential accommodations and no weekends
