Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner Santa Maria CA (1hr NW of Santa Barbara)

We are looking for an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our growing private medical practice full time in Santa Maria, CA. We are seeking a provider who can provide high quality direct patient care and management along with our multidisciplinary team, is compassionate and has an interest in restorative, rehabilitative, and regen medicine. Our ideal candidate has experience working with musculoskeletal and injury evals, venipuncture and intra articular injections, but we are willing to provide training and certification for the right individual.

Duties:
  • Direct patient care, oversight, and management
  • Patient evaluations (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent medical records/imaging/records)
  • Order/review diagnostic imaging
  • Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation (ortho and regen med)
  • Order PT, treatments, modalities as medically necessary
  • Patient education as to care plan options, diagnosis, lifestyle modifications, rehab/corrective actions
  • Collaboration with the Chiropractic and PT/rehab team for comprehensive patient care
  • Perform and assist with Treatments to include PRP, A2M, trigger point injections, US intra-articular injections and blood draws
  • Documentation- timely and accurate
Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
  • PA/NP Licensed to practice in CA
  • Experience in orthopedics/musculoskeletal, pain management or rehab preferred
  • Comfortable with blood draws and procedures- intra articular injections (or willing to be trained)
Schedule:
  • Full time Monday through Thursday or Part time 2 days per week
Salary (range):
  • $75 - $85 per hour (DOE) ~ $156k-$176k annually
