We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our multispecialty outpatient team full time in Overland Park, KS. As an Occupational Therapist in our multi-specialty care setting, you'll have access to continuing education opportunities in advanced diagnostics, allowing you to expand your knowledge and expertise. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to learn how to perform functional capacity exams and oversee work hardening programs for state and federal workers' compensation patients. We also work with pre-op and post-op orthopedic patients from commercial and Medicare plans. We provide comprehensive training and support to ensure you become a superior clinician and leader. Duties:
  • Perform initial exams/consultations and re-exams (medical history, focused physical exam, review pertinent imaging/documents/reports)
  • Evaluate findings, develop and prepare appropriate treatment plans
  • Patient education as to diagnosis, treatment plan options, pre and post treatment care, lifestyle modifications, and benefits of continued care
  • Treatment- rehab and various therapies and modalities
  • Delegate tasks to COTAs when necessary
  • Documentation and Charting (timely and accurate notes)
  • Work cooperatively with the multidisciplinary team and other support staff for comprehensive patient care
  • Patient follow up to ensure treatment goals are being met- reassessments
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Active Occupational Therapy license in KS
  • Recent grads will be considered
Schedule:
  • Full time
  • Monday- Friday
Salary (range):
  • $75k- $95k
