Duties:
  • Provide quality care to patients by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results
  • Establish physical therapy treatment plans in consultation with referring physicians
  • Implement treatment based on evaluative findings and physician referral
  • Perform all appropriate physical therapy procedures utilizing state of the art manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education and functional training to help restore patients to their prior level of function.
  • Administer adjunctive procedures such as therapeutic modalities and assistive device training to manage pain and enhance recovery
  • Evaluate the effects of treatment/progress and modify care on an ongoing basis to maximize recovery
  • Assure continuation of therapeutic plan following discharge by designing effective home exercise programs
  • Document patient care services by charting in patient records
  • Protect patients and employees by adhering to standard safety protocols.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Physical therapy program
  • PT license in NY
  • Experience working in an outpatient Musculo-skeletal practice a plus
Schedule:
  • Full time
  • 4, 10-hour days
Compensation:
  • Up to $120,000 (depending on experience)
