We are seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our outpatient addiction treatment practice in Philadelphia, PA. This is a full-time, hybrid opportunity with only 2 days per week required onsite.
The ideal candidate is an FNP, AGNP, Adult NP, or other non-psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who is comfortable caring for individuals with substance use disorders and underserved patient populations. We are looking for someone who will approach every patient with kindness, respect, patience, and compassion.
This is not a psychiatric NP position. PMHNP certification alone does not qualify for this role.

What You'll Do
  • Provide medical care to patients receiving treatment for opioid use disorder
  • Perform medical evaluations and physical examinations
  • Review laboratory results and monitor patient progress
  • Prescribe and manage pharmaceutical treatments
  • Provide basic wound care
  • Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans
  • Educate patients on harm reduction, medication adherence, disease prevention, and overall wellness
  • Coordinate care with medical providers, care managers, and support staff
  • Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
Qualifications
  • Active Pennsylvania Nurse Practitioner license
  • FNP, AGNP, Adult NP, or another appropriate non-psychiatric NP certification
  • At least 1 year of clinical experience in primary care, adult medicine, addiction medicine, or a related setting
  • Compassionate and comfortable working with patients experiencing substance use disorders and other barriers to care
  • Ability to work onsite at least 2 days per week
Preferred:
  • Addiction medicine or substance use disorder experience
  • Experience with underserved or vulnerable patient populations
  • Bilingual English/Spanish

Our approach combines Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), harm reduction, and comprehensive care coordination to help patients improve their health and move forward in recovery.
