Duties:
- Provide quality care to patients by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results
- Assist with physical therapy treatment plans in collaboration with the PTs
- Perform all appropriate physical therapy assistant procedures utilizing state of the techniques
- Instruct, encourage, and assist patients in performing physical activities and daily living activities
- Educate the patients on the need to continue effective home exercise programs
- Document patient care services by charting in patient records as required
- Protect patients and employees by adhering to standard safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Completion of a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program
- Physical Therapy Assistant license in NJ
Schedule:
- Part time
Compensation (range):
- $30-$35/hr
