Nurse Practitioner New Haven CT
We are looking for a motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our practice in New Haven, CT. Our ideal Nurse Practitioner is experienced in orthopedics/musculoskeletal issues, comfortable working within an integrated setting, collaborating with a knowledgeable and well-respected team of professionals, to offer a comprehensive approach to patients living with chronic pain. Job duties include performing injections, so experience doing those types of procedures is a plus.

Duties:
  • Patient exam/evaluation (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent med records/imaging)
  • Order and review tests/labs
  • Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation
  • Patient education as to diagnosis, treatment options, rehab/exercises, and various modalities
  • Manage patient care
  • Treatments- trigger point and injections under US guidance
  • Documentation and progress notes – daily, timely and accurate
  • Collaboration with the team and senior providers as needed for comprehensive patient care plans

Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) program
  • NP license in CT
  • Minimum of 3+ years’ clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Orthopedic, Physical Med and Rehab, or Pain management background is preferred
  • Experience with trigger point and joint injections preferred
  • Spanish speaking a plus but not required

Schedule:
  • Full time (Monday – Friday) 8:00am-4:30pm

Compensation:
  • $125k-$130k annually (DOE) plus potential bonus compensation
