Family Medicine OR Internal Medicine Physician San Antonio TX
We are looking for a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join our medical team full time at our offices in San Antonio TX. Ideally, we need a physician who is interested in examining, diagnosing, and treating patients with venous insufficiency, lymphedema, arterial disease, lipedema, blood clots, and helping patients’ leg’s function and feel better. Ultrasound knowledge and procedure experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Must have excellent interpersonal skills, fantastic patient rapport, trustworthy, be interested in learning, growing, and providing the highest level of care alongside our dedicated multidisciplinary team and support staff.
We are looking for a physician who can not only deliver top-tier medical care but also provide outstanding patient service, build immediate rapport, and actively engage in the local medical community. About us:
We are a leading specialized clinic committed to diagnosing and treating the full spectrum of vascular disorders, including chronic venous insufficiency, varicose veins, peripheral artery disease (PAD), lymphedema/lipedema, and deep vein thrombosis (DVT). Our practice emphasizes minimally invasive, evidence-based procedures, outstanding patient service and communication, and a collaborative environment. We have a team of physicians including vascular surgeon and interventional radiologists, physical therapist, advanced practice providers, and dedicated support staff.
Responsibilities:
  • Performing comprehensive vascular evaluations, including physical exams and interpretation of diagnostic studies (e.g., vascular ultrasound).
  • Diagnosing and developing treatment plans for venous and arterial diseases, communicating complex information clearly, confidently, and compassionately to patients.
  • Willing to learn and perform a range of minimally invasive endovascular procedures, such as radio frequency ablations, venaseal, varithena, sclerotherapy, angiography, angioplasty, and stenting. Also specialize in lymphedema, lipedema, wound care, genicular artery embolization, pelvic congestion, etc.
  • Managing pre- and post-procedural patient care.
  • Actively collaborating with other specialists and fostering professional relationships with referring physicians to ensure continuity of care and build the practice's referral base.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely patient records.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and adhering to all regulatory standards.
  • Providing exceptional patient education and support.
Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution. (will consider FMGs)
  • BC/BE Physician in a relevant specialty (e.g., Family Practice, Internal Medicine, PM&R/Physiatry, Interventional Radiology) other areas considered with the right candidate
  • Active, unrestricted medical license or eligibility for licensure in the State of Texas.
  • Experience performing minimally invasive vascular procedures preferred but we can provide training for the right candidate
  • Experience utilizing vascular ultrasound for both diagnostic and procedural guidance preferred (but we will provide training)
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus
Schedule:
  • Mon-Friday (with office hours ending around noon of Fridays)
Salary (range):
  • $250k + depending on specialty and training (plus additional profit sharing and productivity bonuses)
