We are looking for a motivated Nurse Practitioner OR Physician Assistant to join our practice in New Haven, CT. Our ideal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is experienced in orthopedics/musculoskeletal issues, comfortable working within an integrated setting, collaborating with a knowledgeable and well-respected team of professionals. Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as an NP/PA and be able to work independently in CT. Our primary office location is in New Haven, but the incoming NP/PA may be asked to provide coverage at our offices in Middletown or Waterbury.

Duties:
  • Patient exam/evaluation (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent med records/imaging)
  • Order and review tests/labs
  • Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation
  • Patient education as to diagnosis, treatment options, rehab/exercises, and various modalities
  • Manage patient care
  • Treatments- trigger point and injections under US guidance (training available)
  • Documentation and progress notes – daily, timely and accurate
  • Collaboration with the team and senior providers as needed for comprehensive patient care plans

Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant program
  • NP/PA license in CT
  • Minimum of 2+ years’ clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant
  • Musculoskeletal management background is preferred
Schedule:
  • Full time (4 or 5-day work week)
Compensation:
  • $160k-$190k (DOE) plus potential bonus compensation
