We are looking for a Podiatrist to join our team full time in Lakeport CA. We are in Lakeport, a beautiful town in northern CA approximately 2 hrs. north of Sacramento and 3 hrs. north of San Francisco. Ideally, we are seeking a Podiatrist who is surgically trained in the foot and ankle with wound care experience, preferably board certified in podiatric medicine or surgery and wound care certified. The incoming physician will be providing outpatient care within the clinic Mon-Thursday with the potential to see hospital consults/surgery/SNF other hours within the week for additional income.

We are highly skilled in treating a variety of conditions and issues, and offer custom orthotics, wound care and surgical corrections if needed.

Duties:
- Examine patients’ legs and feet to diagnose diseases
- Treat bone, muscle, and joint disorders affecting the feet and ankles
- Perform wound care management
- Diagnose diseases and deformities of the foot and ankle using medical histories, physical examinations, x-rays, and laboratory test results
- Prescribes medications, corrective devices, physical therapy, or surgery
- Advise patients about treatments and foot and ankle care techniques necessary for prevention of future problems
- Provide education/consultation to patients, family, and health care team
- Provide health promotion and preventive medicine
- Maintain appropriate medical records on assigned patients
- Work collaboratively with the fellow DPMs, medical assistants and office staff for comprehensive patient care
- DPM- board certified in podiatric medicine or surgery
- Wound care certified preferred
- Licensed to practice in CA
- $180k per year for 4 days a week + 40% of nonclinical procedures after hours (hospital and SNF) OR $1000/ day + 40% of nonclinical procedures after hours (hospital and SNF)
