We are looking for a Phlebotomist to join our medical team in Portland, ME. The ideal candidate would have 1 year experience in Phlebotomy and has some experience as a front desk receptionist. We are seeking someone who can multi-task, stay organized and proactive in a fast-paced environment while performing front desk duties and blood draws as prescribed by the healthcare providers. We need an experienced individual to work 3 days per week, with the potential to increase to full time at 5 days per week at $224/day. The days of coverage to start will most likely be Mondays and Thursday, with Wed or Friday a possibility.

We are a busy, highly organized multidisciplinary physical medical office in Portland, ME. We specialize in the use of advanced regenerative medicine to treat arthritis, sports related injuries, and chronic pain. We are looking for a friendly and efficient individual to perform blood draws, prepare injections and turning rooms over for the provider as well as provide front desk duties. This position is a flexible part-time role and perfect for a highly qualified phlebotomist looking for additional income and competitive pay.
Essential Duties:

• Front desk duties -Check patients in/out, answer the phones, and make appointments
• Manage the lab
• Assist the other healthcare professionals
• Phlebotomy (perform blood draws)
• Manage inventory
• Manage patient flow
• Maintain hygienic/sterile techniques
• Ensure delivery of timeliness, cleanliness, and professionalism to each patient

• Demonstrates a commitment to goals, organization values and professionalism through appropriate conduct, dress, verbal, and demeanor always
• Works collaboratively and supports efforts of team members
• Demonstrates exceptional customer service and interacts effectively with physicians, patients, residents, visitors, staff

• Phlebotomy experience
• Ability to multitask
• Excellent bed side manor required
• Must be a team player

• 3 days per week (Monday and Thursday, with additional coverage Wed or Friday) to start with the potential to increase to 5 days per week

• $224/day plus bonus!
